"I'm in control now!"
---Cad Bane, upon breaking Ziro the Hutt out of prison
SCUM AND VILLAINY
Some Separatist servants are moved not by belief in the movement's ideals, but by the chance to get paid. Bounty hunters, such as the vicious Cad Bane, are loyal to neither side, working for whoever pays best, while traitors like Sergeant Slick and Captain Argyus are willing to betray their comrades for a chance to become rich. In times of war, greed can be a substitute for true belief.

Bounty hunters, such as the vicious Cad Bane, are loyal to neither side, working for whoever pays best, while traitors like Sergeant Slick and Captain Argyus are willing to betray their comrades for a chance to become rich. In times of war, greed can be a substitute for true belief.
A bounty hunter from Duro, Cad Bane is known, respected, and feared as one of the best in his perilous business. No client is too wicked for Bane, and no mission is too dangerous so long as Bane gets his credits. His fee can be considerable, but so is his reputation: Those hunted by Bane know that nothing will keep him from capturing his quarry.
Bane isn't always a lone gun - he invaded the Senate with a gang of battle-hardened hunters including Aurra Sing, Weequay mercenary Shahan Alama, slicer Robonino, and four droids. But when he works alone, Bane is free to improvise if a plan goes awry. And besides, fewer helpers means more credits for Bane. To Bane, nothing is more important than credits. |
In the final years of the Republic, Jango Fett was regarded as the best bounty hunter in the galaxy. A proficient marksman and unarmed combatant, Fett is covered in a sleek armored suit that conceals his scarred face. His combat gear features an arsenal of weaponry, including retractable wrist blades, a snare, dual blaster pistols and other more exotic tools of the trade. In combat, Jango uses his harnessed jetpack to gain the advantage of speed and height over his enemies. The backpack also carries a nasty surprise - an explosive rocket could be launched from it. For interstellar travel, Jango travels aboard his well-worn starship, Slave I.
Fett keeps a cool demeanor when calculating his every move, always playing to win or survive. He knows best when to make use of evasion, which enables him to outlast his enemies. |
Hondo Ohnaka and his band of space pirates haunt the shipping lanes of the Outer Rim, in search of cargos to steal and travelers to hold for ransom. Their life of crime hasn't made them rich, but it brings in enough credits to hold feasts, drink grog, and have some freedom in a galaxy where it's harder and harder to find.
Hondo escaped servitude as a child on Sriluur by stowing away on a ship to Boonta, where he served as cupbearer for Porla the Hutt and whispered advice to his master about shady business deals. He ran off with several other servants and founded a base on Florrum, far from Porla's wrath. |
Aurra Sing was once a female Jedi Padawan, but following a series of tragedies and misfortunes, she left the Jedi Order to become a vicious bounty hunter specializing in Jedi and political assassinations. She even became an associate in the posse of Cad Bane, a brief mentor of the orphaned Boba Fett, and a commander for the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars.
Sing's biological heritage is veiled in secrecy. Her mother was Human, but her father was of an unknown long-lived species. Nevertheless, rumors abounded, some even speculating that he may have been Anzati. |
Bossk (meaning "Devours His Prey" in Dosh) is the pilot of the Hound's Tooth and holds the title of monarch of the Qotile system. As is customary for a Trandoshan, Bossk began his career by hunting Wookiees, typically considered suicidal if attempted by any other species. During this time, Bossk made a name for himself and began accepting bounties on non-Wookiees as well, becoming one of the galaxy's most feared bounty hunters.
Bossk's primary weapon is a Relby-v10 micro grenade launcher, though he will also use a standard blaster and make use of thermal detonators and a flamethrower. On at least one occasion, Bossk improvised and used other beings as weapons. |
A native of the planet Iridonia in the galaxy's Mid Rim, Sugi owns the starship Halo, and has grown strong through years of hunting bounties; her equally strong sense of honor and duty guide her choices in her sometimes morally murky profession.
As a Zabrak, Sugi possesses a ring of vestigial horns around the crown of her head, and hair of a deep purple color. She prefers to wear her hair up, tied in a T-shaped top knot to keep it out of the way. Like many other Zabraks who hailed from Iridonia, Sugi dons an intricate pattern of facial tattoos. |
A Kyuzo bounty hunter, Embo belongs to Sugi’s band of bounty hunters, but is known to work on his own. He wears a large-rimmed circular hat, which can be thrown as a weapon, used as a shield against small arms fire, and even ridden as a sled over snowy terrain. He also makes use of a modified bowcaster. He is very athletic, as he can jump very high in the air and cover large distances quickly. He is recognized, along with Cad Bane, as one of the best bounty hunters during the Clone Wars.
Embo is mostly silent and speaks only in his native language, making it difficult for others to understand him. He is a merciless fighter, using his unorthodox weapons, his shield-hat and bowcaster to take down foe after foe. This caused his bounty tally during one hunting season to be second only to Cad Bane, a fact recognized by Count Dooku. |
Greedo is a Rodian bounty hunter who lived in Mos Espa alongside the young Anakin Skywalker and W. Wald. Although his father had been an esteemed hunter, and the chief rival of Navik the Red, the younger Greedo has little of his father's prowess and is often overlooked when crime bosses chose bounty hunters to work for them.
Greedo's social ineptitude led many, including his uncle Avaro Sookcool, to perceive him as "not very bright." By the time of the Clone Wars he has gotten a feel for what being a bounty hunter would be like and models his reactions as such. However, Greedo is still making amateur mistakes. |
Dengar, also known as "Payback," is a Corellian bounty hunter and the pilot of the Punishing One. Brought up in the culture of swoop bikes and becoming a successful racer himself, Dengar also leads a double life as a successful bounty hunter during the Clone Wars, becoming one of the galaxy's most efficient mercenaries; his work teams him with the likes of bounty hunters such as Jango Fett and Bossk.
Dengar carries with him an impressive array of weaponry. His weapon of choice is the Valken-38 blaster rifle, a sniper rifle that he uses to kill or wound his prey from a long distance. He also possesses one DL-21 blaster pistol, concussion grenades, and a vibroblade. He is proficient, and in some cases overly enthusiastic, about using grenades and other explosives to complete a bounty. |
Shahan Alama is a male Weequay bounty hunter from Sriluur. After being kicked out of a pirate gang, he was recruited alongside fellow bounty hunters Aurra Sing and Robonino by the Duros hunter Cad Bane to see how well they would work together. Their mission: free the Hutt crime lord Ziro from Republic prison.
Alama usually prefers to work alone, but he also works well with other such solitary beings. His "excessive nastiness" caused his membership in a pirate gang to be revoked and earned him a reputation as a bad pirate. |
The IG-86 sentinel droid, also known as the IG-86 assassin droid, is a model of assassin droid manufactured by Holowan Laboratories. IG-86s are popular with gangsters such as Ziro the Hutt, and see frequent use during the Clone Wars.
IG-86 sentinel droids are a model of sentinel droids designed to act as bodyguards or security droids, however they are often also used as assassins. Ziro the Hutt made use of these droids during the Clone Wars, as did the Confederacy of Independent Systems in some cases. These CIS IG-86 droids often rode speeder bikes into battle. After the Clone Wars, IG-86 sentinel droids would develop into IG-88 assassin droids. |
